Strengthening HIV Prevention Efforts for Women in the Southern U.S. (R34 Clinical Trial Optional)

The goal of this concept is to encourage new strategies that incorporate multiple levels of influence to reach women in the southern U.

S.

with targeted HIV prevention strategies.

The initiative aims to:
(1) elucidate barriers and facilitators to the utilization of HIV prevention

strategies among southern U.S.-based women; and (2) develop and test novel interventions to enhance the uptake and adherence to HIV prevention strategies among women living in the southern U.S.
