Renewal - Federal and University Partnership to Improve the Safety of Seafood from the Gulf of Mexico (U19) Clinical Trials Not Allowed

FDA is announcing the availability of funds for the support of a cooperative research agreement renewal between the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) and Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium.

The scientific, public health, and policy expertise within the Food and Drug

Administration (FDA) will provide opportunities for collaborations that support mission of the academic institution by offering opportunities for joint seafood safety research projects between students, university faculty, and FDA research scientists.

This partnership will prepare the basis for development of further scientific collaborations, outreach, educational initiatives and intellectual partnerships between FDA, the academic institution, and the seafood safety research community.
