COMBATING TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS (CTIP)

The overall goal of the proposed program is to reduce the incidence of trafficking in persons (TIP) and to protect the rights of TIP survivors in Nepal.

The proposed program seeks to build on the experiences and successes of past and current efforts to combat TIP in Nepal, including those

of civil society, the Government of Nepal (GON) and programs previously supported by the United States Government (USG).

The program will reflect the changing dimensions of TIP in Nepal and support greater collaboration of civil society organizations (CSO) and the GON in their efforts to establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the anti-trafficking work sector.
