The Advancing Kosovo Together (AKT) - Local Solutions is envisioned as a local award that will contribute to the USAID Forward goals of strengthening host country capacity and improving aid effectiveness and sustainability by increasing the use of reliable partner country systems and institutions that
will provide support to Kosovo.
Specifically, this implementing mechanism will contribute to the USAID Forward goals of:
1) strengthening local civil society and private sector capacity, and 2) improving aid effectiveness and sustainability.
