for victims of child abuse and their families.

The program goal is to increase the capacity of tribal CACs and CACs serving AI/AN youth to effectively investigate, prosecute, and intervene in child abuse cases involving AI/AN children and their families.

The program will provide in-depth technical assistance (TA) support to federally recognized tribes interested in developing a multidisciplinary team response to child abuse, and TA for tribes involved in developing a new CAC or CAC branch (e.g., CAC satellite offices); develop training opportunities for federally recognized tribes working toward the development of CACs and multidisciplinary teams; and to develop publications and resources as well as adapt and enhance existing CAC resources and materials for use in tribal communities and Alaska Native villages.

These project activities will all be completed in collaboration with OJJDP's national and regional CAC partners.
