NPHI, is helping countries around the world increase surveillance, laboratory, and outbreak response capacity to improve recognition of and response to health threats.

An NPHI coupled with stronger local outbreak detection and response capabilities offers a sustainable solution for building global public health capacity, achieving global health security, and increasing public health impact.

This Notice of Funding Award (NOFO) is published to solicit proposals by the National Institute of Health (Instituto Nacional de Saúde, INS), in Mozambique.

to strengthen INS’ public health capacity and to support INS to work with countries to build strong National Public Health Institutes in the region.

The CDC seeks to strengthen NPHIs that are credible, technically expert, and prioritize the protection of the public’s health.
