USAID/Indonesia Addendum to 7200AA19APS00012

Through the Annual Program Statement (APS) entitled New Partnerships Initiative (NPI):
Conflict Prevention & Recovery Program (CPRP), USAID announced its desire to engage new and underutilized partners to expand and amplify the Agency’s work, particularly in contexts at the risk of, or

credit:

recovering from, violent conflict.

The overall Agency NPI seeks to support partner countries’ progress on the Journey to self-Reliance, achieve sustainable and resilient results, and catalyze more effective partnering for impact.

The APS is designed to specific Administration and Agency priorities and criteria for new and underutilized partners.

Individual USAID Missions will then request Concept Papers via Addenda as the first step in a three-step process that could result in USAID funding for an idea.

Interested organizations should read the entire APS, as well as any Addenda, and follow the instructions for submitting a Concept Paper.

USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted under this APS.

This Indonesia Addendum provides the requirements as they relate to USAID/Indonesia’s Peace Building and Tolerance Promotion in Indonesia.

Intolerance and extremism threaten democratic institutions and weaken the position of minority and vulnerable groups across Indonesia.

USAID/Indonesia is seeking concept papers that promote interfaith and interethnic tolerance and pluralism in order to mitigate triggers of religious and ethnic conflict.

Please also be informed on this following notes:
1.

There are two key documents that all bidders need to understand:
Annual Program Statement (APS), and the Addendum for Indonesia, located in the "related documents" tab.

2.

USAID/Indonesia will host an Applicant’s Conference on June 27th, 2019, at 2pm at the US Embassy in Jakarta.

This is an opportunity for applicants to understand the requirements for submitting an application.

If you are interested in attending, you must contact Eka Yosida at eyosida@usaid.gov by 16:00 on June 24, 201 9.

William D. Eggers and Paul Macmillan of Dowser write about the social entrepreneurs slowly and steadily dirsupting the world of philanthropy. According to Forbes, philanthropy disruptors are those that believe “no one company is so vital that it can’t be replaced and no single business model too perfect to upend.”
