A state grant was given by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) to Oscoda County. The grant amounting to $125,000 will be used for downtown homeowner rehabilitation. The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) serves to create and preserve decent, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income residents and to engage in community economic development activities to revitalize urban and rural communities.
