Eastern Michigan University's State Grant Used for Employment and Services

The Eastern Michigan University's Autism Collaborative center has received a state grant of $500,000 as part of the state's budget.


The grant will be used for funding to employ full-time staff members and to improve their services as well.


According to Jan Joseph, EMU College of Education Dean, the institution works with state appropriations to decide what services to offer and how to expand, giving them a lot of flexibility.
