Mali GFSS Implementation

Through this NFO, USAID/Mali aims to support a suite ofcollaborative activities that support the Mali Country Plan of the GFSS, whichis also referred to as “Feed the Future” or “FTF” in this document.

The resulting awards are intended to focus ononly one activity each.

However itis USAID’s expectation that the different awards will be mutually reinforcingin nature within the geographic zone of influence.

The Mali GFSS Country Plan includes three principal objectives:(i) inclusive and sustainable agriculture-led growth; (ii) increased resilienceof people and communities to economic, health and climate shocks; and (iii)improved nutrition and WASH status, especially of women, adolescent girls and children.

With this NFO, USAID expects to awardcooperative agreements that will support and achieve all three Mali GFSSobjectives.

Subjectto the availability of funds, USAIDMali anticipates awarding multiple assistance awardsto implement two key components of the GFSS:
(a) Market Systems:
Improved Deliveryof Quality Products and Services (b) Agricultural Production:Sustainable Intensification of Target Value Chains
